In 1866, the Alpha Beta chapter of Beta Theta Pi was the first Greek fraternity on The University of Iowa campus. With such an important history in the Greek society at the University, it is exciting that the chapter recolonized in the Fall of 2005. Since then, the chapter has been continuing to grow in quality and quantity.
Thank you to everyone who attended Beta Bags, and we would like to congratulate the ladies of Alpha Chi Omega. One team from Alpha Chi Omega were the lucky winners of two Apple iPods. We would also like to thank Apple and the Ronald McDonald house for their overwhelming support and dedication to make our philanthropy a true success! GO BETA!
The Men of Beta Theta Pi would like to extend its warm wishes this Halloween. We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday!
Alpha Beta Receives Charter
The Alpha Beta chapter of Beta Theta Pi received its charter this August at the 169th General Convention in Dallas Texas. The brothers who flew to Dallas for the weekend had a great experience at the event and enjoyed meeting Betas from all over the country.
